Marja Van Leeuwen-Lokker



Marja is from the Netherlands, 60 years old and has been playing darts for about 4 years.

My right lower leg has been amputated from birth.

After 30 years of wheelchair basketball, injuries meant that I had to look for another sport and that became darts. Playing darts gives me social contacts and keeps me busy.

I also do fitness and I love football, especially the team I follow, Ajax.

I have been married to Piet for 30 years this year, also a para darter.

Hope to be in the Dutch ladies’ team para darters again.

I love to travel, especially to America, and I like to do crafts and paint
